Private Middle Elementary School in Altstetten

In our mixed-age middle school class, we teach children from grades 4 to 6. Our teaching methods are based on the principles of Maria Montessori, Fabian Grolimund, and Remo Largo. The languages of instruction are German and English. French is taught as a foreign language from middle school onwards.

Your child will acquire cognitive and social skills in student-centered sequences led by teachers. Students are taught in a family-like environment, both in groups and individually.

We teach one half-day per week outdoors in the forest, at a playground, in a library, or at a museum.

We measure learning success and communicate transparently. Regular test-based assessments show the child, teachers, and parents the child’s academic development in a transparent manner.

We offer a connection to the public school system. We prepare children for the transition to secondary or high school (Gymnasium).
